Intel Tech Innovation
An Intel recently announced that it has added two new processors to its 11th generation Intel Core processor lineup at ‘Computex 2021‘. Intel said the newly unveiled processor, in collaboration with software vendors (ISVs) and manufacturers (OEMs), will provide the highest performance for thin and Light Windows Laptop Processors or notebooks processor.
Following the announcement of collaborations with MediaTek and Pivocom, it also unveiled Intel 5G Solution 5000, the first 5G product for the next-generation PC experience.
Chris Walker, Intel Vice President and General Manager of Mobility Client Platforms, said, “Intel has built the world’s best processors for thin and light Windows notebooks, and with the addition of two new 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics, It provides an improved experience,” he said.
“Intel recognizes the importance of real-world performance and connectivity to partners and users who use their PCs every day,” said Chris Walker, vice president, Intel 5G Solution 5000, the first 5G product for PCs. This will give our customers more platform capabilities and choices.”
With the spread of remote classes and the need to work from home due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), mobility, performance, and connectivity are emerging as essential factors in the latest PC experience.
As the world moves into a mixed work-study-rest phase, advances in mobile computing will drive the evolution of how and where people use their devices.
The 11th Gen Intel Core processor family will continue to provide the productivity, collaboration, creation, gaming and entertainment features needed in real life through thin and Light Windows Laptop Processors.
More than 60 designs based on the Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core i5-1155G7 are expected to arrive by the end of this year’s shopping season, starting with Acer, Asus, Lenovo and MSI notebooks to launch this summer.
Additionally, around 250 designs based on the 11th Gen Intel Core U-series processors are expected to hit the market by the end of this year.
Intel’s innovation and leadership through the 11th Gen Intel Core processor family and Intel Evo platform certified designs will continue, coupled with advanced storage and connectivity technologies essential to delivering amazing PC experiences.
Wi-Fi 6E
Wi-Fi 6E is the most important update in the history of consumer Wi-Fi over the past 20 years, and Intel introduced its first Wi-Fi 6E solution to the PC market in early 2021.
The new 11th Gen Intel Core products represent this industry leadership with best-in-class Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) products that deliver improved reliability through gigabit speeds, lower latency, and seamless Wi-Fi performance in the new 6 GHz band (select regions only). will accelerate
Featuring the latest 2nd Gen Intel Optane Memory H20 combined with solid state storage (SSD), the platform based on 11th Gen Intel Core processors is designed to manage everyday tasks, large media, gaming files and applications with new levels of responsiveness and large storage capacity. to the tasks that users use the most, faster.
Intel continues to evolve the PC experience beyond just performance. Combining key platform technologies and system optimizations, Intel Evo Platform Certified notebook designs are co-designed to ensure exceptional responsiveness, long battery life, instant system wake-up and superior connectivity.
So far, more than 85 Intel evo designs have been released by major manufacturers including Samsung, Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and MSI, and Intel expects more than 100 designs from more than 15 manufacturers to be certified by the end of this year.
An Intel plans to build a deeper level of premium mobile computing by partnering with more than 150 ecosystem partners and investing more than $50 million in innovations in the Intel Evo ecosystem this year.
Intel 5G solutions
An Intel introduced the first 5G M.2 solution to receive worldwide carrier certification. Intel 5G Solution 5000 delivers nearly five times faster speeds than Intel Gigabit LTE everywhere.
As Intel has partnered with MediaTek to define, develop, certify and support 5G modem solutions for the next-generation PC experience, and is also partnering with Pivocom to provide a 5G M.2 solution (FM350-GL).
Within this year, Acer, Asus and HP will launch their latest laptops for the first time with the 11th Gen Intel Core U and H series processors based on the Intel 5G Solution 5000. It also expects more than 30 laptops to hit the market in 2022.
